Who I Serve

I help midlife women who suffer from stress, anxiety and/or emotional eating
issues. I also help women who want to get to the next level in their lives.
They want to feel happier and healthier using natural therapies.

Many have tried medication and traditional psychotherapies but they are still
stuck.
Some have been in therapy for years, are still in therapy, but have reached a
plateau. They are looking for a fresh approach integrating the body and mind. They are
often already practicing yoga and or other natural approaches to enhance their health
and well-being.

I work with women who have been struggling with weight issues most
of their lives.
They are very frustrated. They believe there must be a way to lose
weight without obsessing about portions and calories, and constantly feeling deprived,
guilty, and ashamed. They have often tried everything to lose weight: exercise program,
pills, Overeaters Anonymous programs, etc. and they are still struggling.

Their weight issue is primarily emotional. Some of their issues include
uncontrollable cravings, high level of past and present stresses, and self-sabotaging
thoughts /behaviors that get in the way of their weight loss.

Are some of these statements true for you?

I am tired of dieting; I realize it is not working for me. But I don’t trust my body to tell
me what it needs

I have tried using my willpower to comply to exercise programs, and each time
I have given up. This made me feel even worse about myself. I end up eating even more
to stuff my negative feelings.

I cannot control my cravings. For example, I eat two bags of tortilla chips a day. I
cannot control my cravings. I know this is preventing me from losing weight.

I fear that no matter what I do, I will not be able to lose weight, so
I do nothing. I hate my body and suffer from low self-esteem.

I feel deeply deprived when I don’t eat what I want. I am so anxious
and panicky at the thought of lacking food that I have three fridges in my home and filled
out two pantries. I don’t know how to feel more secure, more trusting that food will be
there when I need to eat.

I eat when I feel sad, lonely, depressed, etc…At night after a good day of work, I
sit on the couch and splurge on cookies and sweets because “I deserve it”. I use food to
satisfy my need for pleasure in life. This kind of thinking keeps me from losing weight.

Clients are likely to succeed when they are:
Open to new ways of approaching their weight issue.
Open to alternative, energy therapies
Ready to learn tools to help them and are active participants in the process
Ready to consider their issue as a challenge that can take time to overcome because it
was not created in a day. They are in for the long run (several months). They are not
looking for another quick fix; they want long-term results and are ready to take
responsibility and explore multiple causes till success.

I help women with stress who want to feel happier and healthier using
natural therapies.
I work mainly with midlife women with depression, unstable moods,
and anxiety attacks. Many are in transition in their personal and professional lives.

When you work with me you can expect to receive individual BodyTalk
sessions and other energy psychology therapies
as I assess the most effective
way to deal with your issue. I also offer monthly EFT group sessions (see below for
description) for those who want to learn self-help techniques and like the energy of
working in a group.

Are some of these statements true for you?

Since I lost my child I have been depressed and medication and traditional
counseling have not helped much.

Since my car accident my back hurts and I feel depressed, afraid to lose my
mobility, and anxious to drive again

I have had a series of bad relationships and I would like to clear my memories and
eliminate the negative patterns so that I can meet and keep the loving partner I deserve.

I should be happy but I find myself crying a lot and depressed without any
reasons. It is a mystery for me I would love you to ask my body/mind what it needs to be
balanced.

I have plenty of complaints and don’t know where to begin? What should I do
first?

Clients are likely to succeed :

When they are open and ready to heal and change, and when they are open to
alternative approaches and ready to take responsability for their healing.

Finally, I work with women who are already doing well, and want to
get to the next level in their personal and professional lives.

Some  are artists or writers and want to release what blocks their creativity.
Others feel stuck in their relationships and after having several painful ones are ready to
find out what is preventing them from finding and maintaining a loving, caring, respectful
relationship. They know at some level that their belief and behavior patterns are at the
core of the problem.

When you work with me you can expect to receive mainly BodyTalk sessions to uncover
hidden limiting beliefs, active memories (still affecting you unconsciously), and other
issues that may be preventing you from being all you can be.

Clients who come for personal growth always change because they are open
and thirsty for growth.
They value and enjoy deeply the BodyTalk sessions as it gives
them a rapid sense of progress. The enjoyment also comes from uncovering hidden
treasures and parts of self they knew existed but were not able to uncover by
themselves.
